Fairbanks Mesonet

Weather and Environmental Data For Our Community

Welcome to the Fairbanks Mesonet. The Mesonet is a network of environmental data stations in the Fairbanks North Star Borough area. The stations include meteorologic (weather), hydrology, soil physics, and other types of environmental stations. A number of organizations support the overall network and many other groups support specific site operations.

New contentWe also welcome the National Weather Service as our newest network partner. We also have added a new site in the network, which is being sponsored by the Cold Climate Housing Research Center. The station is located at the future home of their new office on the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus. Please be sure to visit our sponsors page!

Our cooperative efforts are intended to benefit the Fairbanks community. Please visit the stations in the network and feel free to give us comments and input on the network. There are also links to other sources of weather, hydrology, and environmental data for Fairbanks.
